For those who want to repair their iPhone themselves without having to go to an Apple Store or Apple service provider, the company has now launched the Self Service Repair Store, a portal that provides the repair manuals, parts, and tools needed to repair the display, battery, bottom speaker, camera, display, SIM tray, and Taptic Engine of the devices.
As a reminder, the service is currently only available in the US, but will be live in Europe later this year.
Each manual explains how the repair process works and outlines the parts available for purchase. The manuals include details on how to make a repair, the steps involved, and what to do if something goes wrong.
Many of Apple’s repairs require a tool kit that is priced at $49.
